What to expect:
At the time of making your appointment, you will receive your digital intake form by text/email. You can choose which platform you’d like to reply through.
On arrival, please verbally inform the massage therapist of any important information, including health issues, and any other concerns.
We ask all clients to arrive at the massage table with clean skin.
Please be well-hydrated, and eat a small meal at least 30 minutes before your appointment time.
Wearing comfortable clothing, e.g., t-shirts, shorts or stretch athletic wear with easily removable or slipper-type shoes, is ideal.
If you have allergies or are sensitive to certain lotions or massage/essential oils, please inform us, and you are welcome to bring your own.
Use of the lavatory prior to the treatment service is encouraged. It’s no fun for you to have to stop the therapy in the middle of a session. We want you to have the most optimal and healthful experience.
You are guided to the massage room where you will be instructed to prepare for your massage. The massage therapist steps out, then the door is closed and you can undress comfortably and prepare yourself on the table (faced down) for your treatment.
Clients typically dress down to wearing only bottom underwear and then appropriately cover themselves with the sheet and blanket that are provided on the massage table.
Let the Massage Therapist know that you are ready, so they can enter once you are properly covered.
Only the Massage Therapist and the adult(s) being treated are allowed in the massage room during the session for the purpose of peace, quiet and for the therapist to be able to focus on the treatment.
A guardian adult must accompany minors (4 to 16 years of age) in the massage room. Clients who are 17 years of age may come in with written consent or can opt to have an adult guardian in the room.
The massage therapy session will begin promptly at the scheduled appointment time.
LATE ARRIVALS: The therapist will shorten the appointment by every minute the client is late, so other subsequent client appointment times don’t get delayed.
CANCELLATIONS: Out of consideration for other clients who are waiting to schedule an appointment, we request clients to give 24-hour advance notice for changes or cancellations of any appointments.
If a client makes a cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment time, that client is allowed 1 postponement and can reschedule. After the first allowance for a cancelled appointment, there will be a $35 cancellation fee that goes toward having kept the room unavailable for an appointment that could have been filled with another client.
Massages range from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
